Stars Who Never Won an Oscar

He is known for playing eccentric roles, including his memorable character Edward in "Edward Scissorhands" and Gilbert Grape in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," but actor Johnny Depp has never scored an Academy Award in his acting career. Depp has been nominated for three films: "Finding Neverland," "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." After being nominated for his role in "Pirates" but not winning, Depp said, "The nomination was enough for me. I felt very honored.
