Carson Daly and Tara Reid Confirm Split
July 3 -- After months of conflicting reports in the New York tabs about the state of their relationship, Carson Daly and Tara Reid confirm that they have broken up."They're definitely split up, and they wish each other the best, and that's it," Shirine Coburn, Daly's publicist, said of the MTV host and his intended bride. The newspaper quotes Reid, 25, as saying the breakup came after several painful attempts to patch up their differences. The 28-year-old Total Request Live host asked the American Pie star to marry him last year, but in April Reid bumped their planned summer nuptials, reportedly to accommodate the filming of her new movie, The Guest.
Reid has since been linked to her Guest love interest, Ashton Kutcher, but has denied being romantically involved with the Dude, Where's My Car? star. Daly formerly dated actress Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Meanwhile, another celebrity wedding has been called off, at least for now. Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes and football player Andre Rison were reportedly going to tie the knot in Atlanta Thursday, but now her spokesman says that neither one will be in town this week. The couple are still expected to marry despite a rocky history: In 1994 Lopes was arrested for burning down Rison's million-dollar mansion after an argument with the athlete.
