Oct. 2, 2007 — -- Country music beauty Faith Hill showcases her nearly 15-year career with "The Hits," a new album of her best-known songs.

In addition to fan favorites, the album also features two new songs, including "Red Umbrella," which Hill performed live today as part of "Good Morning America's" Fall Concert Series.

The 40-year-old blond bombshell and mother of three young daughters had her first major success in 1993 with her first single, "Wild One." It spent four weeks at No. 1, an unprecedented achievement at the time.

Hill recently wrapped up the highest-grossing country tour of all time Soul2Soul II with husband and fellow country music singer Tim McGraw. She said she still remembers hearing her song on the radio for the first time.

"I heard it the first time on the radio driving through Nashville," she said. "I was excited to hear it on the radio." Hill tried flagging down people on the street to listen.

Hits like "Cry" and "Breathe" have cemented Hill's crossover superstar status as a pop sensation.

One of country's musical darlings, Hill has won a following of dedicated fans who look to her and her family as an inspiration. Along with McGraw, her family includes 10-year-old Gracie, 9-year-old Maggie and 5-year-old Audrey. Hill said she is flattered her fans think she is a good role model.

"I certainly want to leave a great impression," she said.

The Mississippi girl also has raked in a slew of awards and honors, including 11 No. 1 singles, five Grammy awards, three Country Music Association awards, four American Music awards and 10 No. 1 videos. As one-half of country music's biggest power couple, her fame only continues to grow.

Hill, who tours with her entire family, recently sparked a controversy after reprimanding a female fan who grabbed her husband's crotch as he performed on stage in Lafayette, La.
