Feb. 6, 2006— -- The 2006 Super Bowl title is the fifth in Steeler's history and their first in 26 years.

It was also the "last stop" for running back Jerome "the Bus" Bettis who played his final game in his hometown of Detroit.

Bettis, 33, had considered retiring at the end of last season, but his teammates persuaded him to come back.

"I didn't promise we'd win it, but I promised we'd get back here [Detroit]," said Ben Roethlisberger, who became the youngest quarterback to lead his team to a Super Bowl at age 23.

Bettis said he was not sure what he was going to do next. But whatever it is, he will do it with a Super Bowl ring on his finger.

"You've got to believe I'm the happiest guy," Bettis said. "To be in the Super Bowl at the end of your career was just a dream come true to me."

Bettis' next stop may be Disney World. Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward said that he's going to Disney World and that he's "taking the Bus."

Ward had five receptions for 123 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown. While he looked confident in the field, he said there were butterflies in his stomach as he ran through the tunnel and saw the previous Super Bowl MVPs cheering for him.

"I almost threw up," Ward said.

When the Pittsburgh Steelers had 7-5 record at the beginning of December, it was hard to imagine they would be holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the Super Bowl in Detroit.

"It's a tribute to the coaches and the player and their focus and resolve," Steelers coach Bill Cowher told "Good Morning America."

"These guys have been an integral part of putting their little niche in that storybook past of Pittsburgh."
