Johnson is the founder and CEO of Women for Hire, which is the only producer of high-caliber recruiting events connecting professional women and leading employers throughout the country. She is a frequent speaker to audiences nationwide, ranging from college campuses to Fortune 500 companies, where she shares advice and inspiration on building a successful career. She is also the author of several books on job searching.
She founded Women for Hire after serving in corporate communications positions at ABC News, NBC News and Nickelodeon. She was inducted into the YWCA's prestigious Class of 2002 Academy of Women Achievers, which recognizes the outstanding achievements of women leaders in business. Johnson studied journalism at Emerson College and she serves on the Alumni Board of Directors. She is a member of Women Presidents' Organization.
Johnson lives in New York City with her husband and children.
