As "GMA's" "ambassador of fun," Brill searches the country for all things interesting, exciting and unique — reporting live from ABC's Times Square Studios in the heart of midtown Manhattan as well as various locations around the city.

TWB (as her friends like to call her, her middle name is Winter) joined "GMA" after spending two years with "Good Day Sacramento," the top-rated local morning show in Sacramento, where Taryn anchored the weekend broadcast and delivered lively feature reports on weekdays.

From ice curling and skeet shooting, to Oktoberfest dance lessons and learning the art of a good mud wrap, no live shot is off limits — as Brill puts it "the quirkier the better!"

Some of her most memorable assignments include flying in a U.S. Air Force jet at 600 mph (the "hurl of a lifetime" as Brill reported) and sky diving with the U.S. Army Golden Knights.

Brill was also known in Sacramento for her signature "Phat Tuesday" segments (a franchise she created) that explored the world of luxury living — from cruising on private jets to sampling the most expensive shampoo in the world, Tuesdays in Sacramento got a little bit fancier.

Through it all, Brill is known for her wacky sense of adventure, dry sense of humor and signature curly hair.

Before moving to Sacramento, Brill lived in Los Angeles where she got her start as a reporter for Channel One News, a national news program broadcast in high school classrooms.

She segued into entertainment as the host of the Emmy-nominated channel AOL Music-on-Demand. Brill was also a host for AOL Movies & Moviefone, interviewing all of Hollywood's biggest celebrities at press junkets, red carpets and movie set visits.

Apart from interviewing the likes of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, a special highlight was interviewing Antonio Banderas in Spanish for "Shrek 2." Other stints included hosting an entertainment channel on GOTV, an on-demand mobile network broadcast on Sprint/Nextel.

While still an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, Brill was a producer for "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" during its initial prime-time run.

Brill graduated a semester early to continue working on the top-rated "Millionaire," making television history in the process! After saving ABC prime-time (OK, maybe Regis had a little something to do with it), Brill hosted "What's Hot for Fall" on Much Music USA, now the FUSE network.

Brill began her broadcasting career as an intern at "The Late Show With David Letterman" during her sophomore year of college. During her junior year, Brill studied in Spain at the University of Seville. In addition to finding the most delicioso tapas restaurants, she is proud to have written, produced and hosted a documentary in Spanish about bull fighting — olé! One semester later, she graduated summa cum laude from Penn with a degree in Spanish and communications. She also studied marketing at the Wharton School of Business.

Brill has appeared in several national commercial and print campaigns. She has also dabbled in stand-up comedy and is proud to have performed at The Improv in Los Angeles, and several clubs throughout New York City including Gotham Comedy Club. She is an avid tennis player, loves to bowl and is currently seeking a competitive ping pong league. She resides in New York City.
