What Causes Breast Cancer?

Question: What causes breast cancer?

Dr. Victor Vogel answers the question: 'What causes breast cancer?'

Answer: We wish we knew what caused breast cancer. I think I can say better what we know does not cause breast cancer. We've looked at a number of environmental factors like pesticides and diet, various lifestyle choices, and most of those things that many people believe might be related to an increased risk of breast cancer are not. So I think the most honest answer right now is to say that we really aren't sure what causes breast cancer.
