Dr. Weiss answers the question: 'Birth Control Pills & Breast Cancer Risk?'

Answer: Most studies show that taking birth control pills does not increase your risk for breast cancer. There are some studies, though, that may show a slight increased risk. What we do know is that birth control pills do reduce the risk of developing ovarian cancer.
