'Jersey Shore' Star Pauly D Is a Father
'I am excited to embark on this new part of my life,' he said of being a dad.
Oct. 22, 2013 -- "Jersey Shore" star Pauly D is a father, his rep confirmed to ABC News.
"I'm proud I'm a father," the DJ, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio, said in a statement. "At 33 I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."

According to TMZ, which first reported the news, Pauly D met the mother of his child while he was deejaying in Las Vegas. The website also said that the baby is a few months old, though the reality TV star's rep did not confirm that.

Since he announced that he's a dad, Pauly D has been retweeted well wishes from fans and friends, including his former "Jersey Shore" castmates.
